Any bike under the name Absalom is an original design of mine, currently I have the following designs uo:

Absalom 6 (aka Fairlady, but I forgot to click apply to rename it before I uploaded it) A low slung VPP AM frame, with a pretty wheel path and a falling rate suspension, 5" travel.

Absalom Fo-Cross: As the name would suggest, this is a 4X frame with 4" of travel, using what I've deemed the "scissor link". The premise of the scissor link is that one eye of the shock is mounted on the link while the other is on the rocker arm, and as the the swingarm moves it pushes the two together.

Absalom Hammer: A lovely little 5" number, a linkage activated single pivot with a shock mounted onto the rear triangle makes this one of my favorite designs. Look at that shock curve, it's beautiful.

Absalom Nasty: Another 5" frame (I went through a mid-travel phase, haha) using a very simple linkage activated single pivot.

Absalom Chunk: 8.2" of VPP travel, I was throwing VPP link points around randomly when I happened upon this shock curve, it's not my best but I kinda liked it so I threw it up on here.

I will continue to update this page as I upload more... let me know what you think.

Hey I was looking at your designs and they look solid. My only concern is on the FO Cross shock linkage. The rocker link in particular looks like it is too long and will be very prone to fatiguing from the leverage put on it. You want it to be more symmetrical so that the forces on either side are even. More like the proportions on the Absalom 6.

Know what I mean?

Its funny how you decided to call your suspension the scissor link. I was thinking of a scissor action when I thought up using a floating shock also when I was in Calc 3, 3 years ago. I was thinking in particular of a scissor jack on lifts and for jacking your car up. Great minds think alike eh?

Ive just this year finished 3 prototypes of my designs. Mine are uploaded in the library under the make No BS Bikes. Theres the DVP 2.0 and the Scissor Jack. Ive also got a website www.nobsbikes.com you should check it out.
